The Power 5 Program Video

August 28, 2008

I just put a shortened version of the Power 5 Program on You Tube and I thought I’d share it with you.

For those who don’t remember, I made this video, the original was about 29 minutes, for those who opted-in to my survey. Of course, since you can’t put a 29 minute video on You Tube, I shortened it.

This is a solid program that will pack on muscle if you follow it and work hard and consistent at it. So, enjoy the video and for those who decide to do it, let me know how its going for you.

Workout Warriors Club Rant

August 18, 2008

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve listened to some who said that the price tag of the Workout Warriors Club was a little out of reach.

And while I’m not going to lower my original price, I’ve decided to add a Basic Membership package at a lower price of $67 a month, while the Deluxe membership is $197 a month. The difference being, the Basic membership will not include the Mastermind calls or the 24/7 personal email access. You’ll still get personalized workout, cardio and nutrition plans, as well as the monthly Workout Warriors Newsletter.

If all that is still too much dinero, the newsletter can be ordered separately for $29.95 a month. It’s chock full of training tips, diet advice and commentary that can’t be found anywhere else – online or off.

Finally, I usually don’t respond to negative criticism, but a few people on my email list attacked me personally and called me many names I won’t mention here. It appears they don’t like it that I’m trying to sell something on this blog. It was those responses that pissed me off.

Why?

Well, for going on three years, I’ve poured my heart and soul out on this blog, posting routines, training tips, commentary and nutrition advice, and not once have I ever asked or tried to sell anyone anything. Yes, there is Google Adsense on the blog, but almost every blogger I’ve read has Adsense on their pages. Believe me, I don’t make shit from Adsense.

Second, I created this coaching program so I could have a more personal, one-on-one relationship with you…To help you achieve your fitness and physique goals. I’ve done this in the offline world for over 10+ years and now I want to reach and help even more people on the Net. Do I charge a lot? I don’t think so. I know what I’m doing and I value my time, I’m not going to give all my knowledge away, and neither should you.

Even beginning trainers, who are dirt cheap, sell their services for $50 per one hour session…that’s the low end. There are some trainers, especially those in Hollywood, who charge $2,000 for an hour session!

The low-fee trainers usually package their services in 4-5 sessions per week. Add it up:

4-5 sessions per week x $50 = $200-$250 per week

$200-$250 per week x 4 weeks = $800-$1,000 per month

Even if they only schedule three sessions a week (many PTs do this), it still equals $600.00 a month!

So much for me being a greedy bastard when you can hire me to train you online for either $67 or $197 a month. I don’t know about you, but that sounds a hell of a lot better that $600 a month!

That’s all I’ve got to say….sorry for the rant. I just don’t like be vilified by people who don’t have a clue or know the facts.

If you don’t feel the Club is for you, fine, that’s okay. I just wanted everyone to know my motives about why I started the Workout Warriors Club. If your interested in the Club, you can check it out by clicking here. Or if you feel the newsletter is good enough for you, go to the order page.

Till next time….

The Workout Warriors Club Has Opened!

August 14, 2008

After months of delays and a complete change of format, the Workout Warriors Club is finally ready to launch.

What started out as a pretty generic, typical membership site, was transformed into a full-fledged online coaching/personal training club.

The reason I chose to go this route came down to the fact I was sick and tired of all the garbage being flouted in magazines, gyms and the Internet. Around 80% of what passes off as training knowledge is pure, unadulterated shit.

Let me break down what’s included in the club membership:

  • Monthly Group coaching calls
  • Members Only Forum
  • 24/7 email access to me
  • A customized weight training and cardio workout routine created to your experience and fitness level
  • A customized nutrition plan
  • Online recordings and transcripts of all monthly Mastermind calls available on the Members Only Website
  • Monthly Workout Warriors print newsletter

I’ve been asked many questions about the Club, so I decided to answer them in a FAQ type format.

QUESTION: What can I expect to get from joining a coaching program, and why should I join yours?

ANSWER: The program is custom tailored to your needs and you get my years of experience and training methods in the bargain. Anyone who wants to better themselves in any area of life needs a coach or mentor to help them, encourage them and motivate them to be their best. I have 20+ years of weight training experience and over 10 years of personal training. I know what works and what doesn’t.

QUESTION: Is there a cut off date to sign up for membership?

ANSWER: Yes. Because of the personal level of coaching I’ll be doing, the membership is limited to the first 150 people who join. That’s not some kind of sales trick. Even though you can reach more people with online coaching, I don’t want to spread myself too thin. I want to give everyone who joins the best coaching and instruction I can and a small membership size is better for me.

QUESTION: What’s my commitment if I were to join your program?

ANSWER: It is a 12 month membership with a minimum 6 month commitment to the Workout Warriors Club. If you can’t give me at least six months of your time to get bigger and stronger then, to be brutally honest, this is not for you. I only want individuals who are dedicated to reaching their genetic potential. I’m very serious about this. If you want to be the best, you have to be determined, passionate and focused to get it. This coaching club is not for the weak willed or people looking for a magic pill.

QUESTION: What are the benefits of the Workout Warriors Club, and how will it help me?

ANSWER: Here are just a few – build muscle, melt bodyfat, create unstoppable self-confidence, develop mental toughness, become healthier, have more stamina and energy, and look and feel better.

QUESTION: What is the Price?

ANSWER: The price is $197 per month. And, if you think “that’s a lot of money,” please consider that the cheapest, and I do mean the cheapest personal trainers, charge around $50 per one-hour session, for 4-5 days per week. Do the math:

That averages out to $200-$250 per week and $800-$1,000 a month. For my in-person, one-on-one coaching sessions, I charge $200 an hour. As you can see by the numbers, $197 a month for online coaching/training that works is not a bad deal at all.

If your interested in joining this exclusive club, I urge you to check the site out before you’re locked out. I’ve already had three people invest and I haven’t even announced the launch until now. Click on the graphic below and you can check it out for yourself.

I’ve dedicated my life to weight training and now I want to give to others what I’ve learned – without all the heartache and disappointment I went through.

Look at it this way, even Tiger Woods needs a coach to keep him on the right path.

It’s up to you which path you’ll take.

To the left, you have an experienced guide, ready to help you reach all your health and fitness goals

To the right, extends a long road of painful trial and error, fraught with confusion and frustration.

Why go it alone? Why risk letting another year go by and finding yourself no closer to your fitness goals and dreams?

Let’s join forces NOW! These membership slots will only be available for a very short time. Don’t kick yourself in the months ahead for missing out.

No matter which path you decide to take, I wish you the best of luck in all your training endeavors. If you’re interested click the logo below:

Mindset & Sticking Points

August 13, 2008

There’s a certain mindset needed for hardcore training. Many stumble and just plain give up because they don’t have the mental toughness needed to succeed in the iron game.

You have to approach the bar like a hungry lion ready to pounce on its unsuspecting prey. No retreat, no surrender, no mercy.

Don’t be timid…

You have to be pissed off at the iron. Grab it, force it into submission and work hard and intense as you possibly can. It takes determination, effort, consistency and a never quit attitude that leads to lifting success.

This mindset can be developed with patience and practice. Just take it one workout at a time. Don’t try to look at the big picture all at once. That’s a recipe for failure. Break your lifting goals down into chunks and stay consistent, focusing on one lift at a time, one day at a time, and before you know it – hardcore muscle and power are yours.

Here’s a quick little workout if your stuck in a rut. Don’t let the simplicity fool you. When stuck on a plateau less exercise, not more, is better.

Sticking Point Workout

Day One
Overhead Press
Squats

Day Two
Dips or Bench Press
Deadlifts

Notes: Lift twice a week with whatever set a rep scheme you prefer. Get plenty of rest, eat good food and drink lots of water. Remember to lift heavy and with max intensity.

Understand that to be successful in any weight training program – hard work is a must! Half-hearted effort does nothing for you. If you’re new to weight training or grossly out of shape, consult a physician first. End of disclaimer.

Workout Warriors Club Set To Launch

August 12, 2008

Hello everyone. I’m happy to announce that after many ups and downs, twists and turns and all sorts of problems, the Workout Warriors Club is ready to roll.

The site will go live either Thursday, August 14th or Tuesday, August 19th, depending on how fast we can work out some kinks that still remain.

Workout Warriors has evolved into something completely different from when I first envisioned it.

The big difference is the format. Instead of being a generic fitness site with articles, videos and the like, I’ve decided to make it a training/coaching site.

I thought it would be better and more beneficial to you if I put my 20+ years of weight training and over 10 years of personal training experience to good use.

This will be online training specifically tailored to your needs; with personalized nutrition and workout plans, Mastermind phone calls, unlimited access to my personal email, and a lot more.

What it is training that gets results. Not the fluff, lies and crap spread in the bodybuilding rags, but the stuff I’ve used on myself and others to build muscle, strength and health – without the use of drugs. If you need help in any of those areas, then this program is for you.

I’m also coming out with a monthly hardcore training print newsletter chock full of tips, training and nutrition advice and personal commentary. The newsletter is included in the coaching program, but can be purchased separately.

And don’t worry this blog will still be around even if you don’t want the coaching or the newsletter. I’ll have complete details about everything when the site goes live.

Tomorrow, I’ll talk about the correct mindset needed to train all-out and give you a nice little routine for the advanced lifter having trouble with size and strength gains.

Till next time, train hard and heavy.
