Another Arthur Jones Workout

September 2, 2007

Here is another workout that Arthur Jones recommended in many of his writings. In this routine, I’ve eliminated the sets and reps so you can adjust to suit your tastes.

Arthur believed in brief, but intense work with as heavy a weight as possible. A prescription for exercise that still works wonders to this day.

Mr. Jones knew what he was talking about. If you want to get strong and big – listen to him.

Another Arthur Jones Workout
Deadlifts
Front Squats
Bench Press
Rows
Dips
Shrugs
Calf Raises

Notes: Eliminate the deadlifts completely if you feel overtrained. Perform this workout 2-3 days a week. Eat healthy, drink water and get plenty of rest.

Understand that to be successful in any weight training program – hard work is a must! Half-hearted effort does nothing for you. If you’re new to weight training or grossly out of shape, consult a physician first. End of disclaimer
