Why does every guy dream of having a ‘Hollywood type’ six pack? Obviously six packs have come to represent something just more than a nice looking body. With the advertising campaigns it seems for most guys six packs have become synonymous with masculinity.
The first thing about getting a six pack is about working on getting the right kind of diet and figuring out the correct type of workout. You don’t need to kill yourself with six hours at the gym each day in order to get a six pack fast. It’s not just about excessive workouts. It’s about hitting the right combination of diet and exercise. This will definitely help you to get a six pack fast.
Start with trying to improve your metabolism. This would mean regular workouts and eating more, smaller meals. Cut down on starchy food if you want to get a six pack fast. Instead try to eat food with more proteins. Some would also advise you not to eat after six in the evening as your metabolism rate would slow down after that time. In order to get a six pack fast you should work hard on improving your metabolism, and the better your metabolism the faster would be your weight loss.
Cut down especially on pizzas, fried meat, chocolates and cakes. These would be your greatest enemies when trying to get a six pack fast. Having to stop eating your favorite food might not be easy but it’s very necessary in order to lose weight. Remember that the newest flashiest exercise equipment might not help you all that much when trying to get a six pack fast. Trying to lose fat only on a specific area of the body is bound to end in failure. You can’t spot reduce.
There are thousands of videos, manuals and blogs that would give you different tips on how to get a six pack fast. Don’t run after fads and stick to the proven methods. Advice from your physician about this matter could also be very helpful. Also remember that even if you get a six pack fast your body might not look like all those models you see on TV. Everyone has a different body and you need to realize that.
Getting six pack abs is achievable and the main way is through diet. Doing massive sets of crunches won’t. Abs, especially six packs show up when bodyfat percentage goes down. For men, it’s around 9% or less.
Train hard, lift heavy, and keep a clean diet. Lower your bodyfat and come summertime, you’ll be showing off those six-packs and all the work you did to get them.

Nice post, I completely agree with the idea of diet! Most people believe that by taking a supplement shake, they can eat what they want because they are taking ‘shakes’!
6 pack and muscles come with hard training and dedication as well as diet playing a massive role!
Also on the subject of abs, I have found that just by blasting a 10 minute session on abs with minimal breaks has been sufficient, I do abs about 3 times a week!
Boxers have good ab workouts!

I think having passion for health will help in your weight loss success as when you get healthy you lose weight. Most people think the opposite. They think just losing weight is going to equal better health. People need to look at weight loss less superficially.
