One of the most controversial subjects in the bodybuilding/weight training field is nutrition and with it – the taboo topic of fasting.

The age old theory has one eating 6-8 meals or more a day with lots of extra protein. Fasting is out of the question say the so-called experts. They say it slows metabolism and eats away at muscle.
