Workout Warriors Club Rant

August 18, 2008

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve listened to some who said that the price tag of the Workout Warriors Club was a little out of reach.

And while I’m not going to lower my original price, I’ve decided to add a Basic Membership package at a lower price of $67 a month, while the Deluxe membership is $197 a month. The difference being, the Basic membership will not include the Mastermind calls or the 24/7 personal email access. You’ll still get personalized workout, cardio and nutrition plans, as well as the monthly Workout Warriors Newsletter.

If all that is still too much dinero, the newsletter can be ordered separately for $29.95 a month. It’s chock full of training tips, diet advice and commentary that can’t be found anywhere else – online or off.

Finally, I usually don’t respond to negative criticism, but a few people on my email list attacked me personally and called me many names I won’t mention here. It appears they don’t like it that I’m trying to sell something on this blog. It was those responses that pissed me off.

Why?

Well, for going on three years, I’ve poured my heart and soul out on this blog, posting routines, training tips, commentary and nutrition advice, and not once have I ever asked or tried to sell anyone anything. Yes, there is Google Adsense on the blog, but almost every blogger I’ve read has Adsense on their pages. Believe me, I don’t make shit from Adsense.

Second, I created this coaching program so I could have a more personal, one-on-one relationship with you…To help you achieve your fitness and physique goals. I’ve done this in the offline world for over 10+ years and now I want to reach and help even more people on the Net. Do I charge a lot? I don’t think so. I know what I’m doing and I value my time, I’m not going to give all my knowledge away, and neither should you.

Even beginning trainers, who are dirt cheap, sell their services for $50 per one hour session…that’s the low end. There are some trainers, especially those in Hollywood, who charge $2,000 for an hour session!

The low-fee trainers usually package their services in 4-5 sessions per week. Add it up:

4-5 sessions per week x $50 = $200-$250 per week

$200-$250 per week x 4 weeks = $800-$1,000 per month

Even if they only schedule three sessions a week (many PTs do this), it still equals $600.00 a month!

So much for me being a greedy bastard when you can hire me to train you online for either $67 or $197 a month. I don’t know about you, but that sounds a hell of a lot better that $600 a month!

That’s all I’ve got to say….sorry for the rant. I just don’t like be vilified by people who don’t have a clue or know the facts.

If you don’t feel the Club is for you, fine, that’s okay. I just wanted everyone to know my motives about why I started the Workout Warriors Club. If your interested in the Club, you can check it out by clicking here. Or if you feel the newsletter is good enough for you, go to the order page.

Till next time….
